Fluorescence and Chromogenic In Situ Hybridization (FISH and CISH) techniques are used to localize specific nucleic acid sequences within the DNA in cells in tissues or cytological preparations, on chromosomes or in whole mounts. We provide a wide variety of probes and kits aimed at the most predominant molecular slide-based tests performed in anatomic pathology. The IQFISH hybridization buffer is formamide-free and allows genomic DNA probe hybridization to be performed in Hybridizer outside a fume hood or in Dako Omnis in just 1-2 hours. The short hybridization time results in a turnaround time of about 4 hours for a complete FISH staining or about 5 hours for a complete CISH staining on formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded tissue sections from deparaffinization to mounting.
